Prevent Bad Breath
Bad breath is oral health problems most often complained of by patients, other thantoothache. Bad breath is a thing that is most often caused by problems with oral hygiene.Bad breath can also be caused by a specific health condition or disease.
There are some things you can do to prevent bad breath:
1. Brushing teeth after meals and before bed. Doing flossing at least once a day. The use of mouthwash is usually only helps freshen breath for a while. Without a toothbrush andflossing to clean, will not be effective mouthwash eliminate bad breath.
2. Brush the tongue. Brush the tongue can be done by using a toothbrush or a specialtongue brushes that have been widely sold in supermarkets or department stores. The surface of the tongue brushed up to 5-15 times, especially the central part of the tongue.
3. When using removable dentures or removable braces, do not forget to always clean upthese loose tools on a regular basis.
4. Keep your mouth moist, either by drinking enough water (not coffee or soft drink), or by chewing xylitol gum or suck candy that does not contain sugar.
5. Brush your teeth replaced with new ones every 3 months.
6. Check your teeth at the dentist, at least 6 months to check and clean the teeth of the existing tartar.
In addition to regular toothbrush, note whether there are holes in teeth that have not beenpatched, or recall, when was the last cleaning tartar (scaling) at the dentist. Teeth thathole and tartar that has accumulated also cause bad breath.
Remember, mouthwash or chewing scented, or mouth spray is not the solution toeliminate bad breath. These things only serve to help eliminate bad breath for a while. Ifthe effect is lost, bad breath is definitely pushed back.
